About

Hello, fellow Writ 371 bloggers! I am currently making this blog dangerously close to the deadline while suffering through the end of a three-day sickness, so enjoy my feverish Nyquil fueled ramblings.

My name is Streeter Stirling and I am a fourth-year Mechanical Engineer with a Writing minor. I am extremely excited to learn all about digital rhetoric and media and hopefully produce a quality blog site at the end of the semester that will bring Dr. Doug to tears of joy and admiration. If you have any personal questions for me, like my favorite ice cream, list of past crimes, or what my social security number is, feel free to ask below.

  1. Hey Streeter!
I’m responding here because I couldn’t find a spot on your weekly post, might be user error, thought!
Anywho, I really enjoyed reading your first weekly response. I loved how you expanded on the ideas and brought them full-circle. In particular, I appreciated how you mentioned current-day culture and the battle of defeating biases just to attain accurate information and how important it is for reader (listeners, watchers, etc) to be included in a good ecology and a non-hostile environment (yet in my opinion, sometimes, a hostile environment in journalism can create a great brainstorming platform for new ideas).
    Awesome work, thank you!
